The American Red Cross is looking for new shelter accommodation after the Pasadena Convention Center demanded victims of Los Angeles wildfire removal to return to normal filming schedule this week.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the convention center is currently evacuating about 300 people who have lost their homes at Eton Fire. The Red Cross says it will continue to protect victims until more permanent housing is secured.
“The Red Cross is working to meet this demand, but there is a team of shelter transition workers that will help shelter residents identify barriers to moving on to the next step in recovery,” the Red Cross said in the Times. He told the paper.
The convention center hosts “American Got Talents.” There will be an upcoming event scheduled for February 12th at the Center, but the purpose of the event is unknown. The NAACP Image Awards will be held at the Centre on February 22nd later this month.
