Former UN ambassador Susan Rice warned that President Trump's actions in ending the Russian-Ukraine war could have a potential impact on China and Taiwan.
Rice Participation MSNBC's Jen Psaki was asked for an interview on Sunday about the president's relationship with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and how he is on the sidelines of Ukraine at the Peace Conference.
“Trump's comments are not only slutty dic, they are extremely dangerous, and they communicate a very ominous change in the US approach to the world.”
She argued that the message Trump is sending to the world is that he is “explicitly” adjusting himself with Putin.
Trump and Putin recently called to discuss the end of a three-year war between Russia and Ukraine, and members of his administration met with Russian officials, but Ukrainian officials.
Earlier this week, Trump said he deliberately was on the sidelines for Zelensky. He said he “don't have a card” when it comes to negotiations.
“Donald Trump, as you pointed out in your intro, is very explicitly uniting himself with dictator Vladimir Putin. “Putin and Xi nearby are the authorities along with North Korea and Iran. Because they understand that they are the axis of the stakes. They work together.”
Rice, who served in the Clinton, Obama and Biden administrations, has long been opposed to the North Atlantic Treaty Agency (NATO), and has been in the process of other allies through his mutual tariff plans and desire to buy Greenland and Canada. I pointed out that I am trying.
“What message would it send when Donald Trump tells Ukraine they are invaders? The food was asked.
She later added that if she was a Chinese leader, she would see the situation and say it was China's turn to infiltrate Taiwan.
“This is truly, truly a dangerous restructuring of our national interests,” concluded Rice. “And it's shocking to me that Republicans in Congress seem to be making a pass, as this all seems tense.”
