President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance publicly condemned the Ukrainian president. Amazing Scene from the White House on Friday.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Washington, DC in the hopes of finding an alliance, but instead realized he was the subject of intense criticism from the leaders of the world's most powerful nation.
“You're gambling with World War II, and what you're doing is very rude to this country, to this country.
Trump and Vance demanded Zelensky's answer to some of the criticisms they have received in the media since the start of the Russian war with Ukraine.
“I think it would be rude to come to the oval office with respect and seek to sue this in front of the American media,” Vance told the Ukrainian president. “Right now, you're forced to draft military forces to the forefront because of talent issues. We need to thank the President for trying to put an end to this conflict.”
“Have you been to Ukraine, what problems do we have?” Zelenskyy fought back.
“I've actually seen the story. I know what's going to happen. “Don't you agree that there's a problem with bringing people into your army? And do you think it's respectful to come to the elliptical offices of the United States and attack an administration that's trying to prevent the destruction of your country?”
Zelensky said the US would soon feel the outcome of the war, but that didn't like Trump to hear.
“You don't know that,” Trump replied.
“God will bless you,” replied Zelensky.
“You shouldn't tell us what we're trying to feel, you're trying to solve the problem. You shouldn't tell us what we're trying to feel,” Trump replied angrily.
The pair blamed Zelenskyy for falling into a bad situation he was in.
“You don't have cards now. With us, you start holding cards,” Trump told Zelensky.
“I'm not Trump,” he replied.
“Yeah, you're Trump,” replied. “You're living and gambling for millions of people. You're gambling with World War II. You're gambling with World War II. And what you're doing is very rude to this country, to this country.”
Vance criticized Zelensky for not appreciating Trump enough for his support.
“I've said thank you so many times [the] American! ” Zelensky replied in frustration.
Trump later issued a statement about the meeting.
Today we had a very meaningful meeting at the White House. Under such fire and pressure, many things have been learned that could never be understood without a conversation. It is surprising that it comes through emotions, and President Zelensky has determined that if America is involved, he is not ready for peace. I don't want any advantage, I want peace. He downplayed the United States in his precious oval office. He can come back when he is ready for peace.
Vance had previously said he really didn't care what he was. It happened While Trump is holding it, he goes to Ukraine. I was threatened If the country does not agree to a ceasefire to end the war, it will issue large tariffs on Russian imports.
