On ABC's “The View” aired on Friday, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) said Democrats should “facing the most vulnerable people in our society,” but Republicans also said they have become “the smallest minority” by setting a “rabbit hole” by becoming “cruel” and saying “impacting a few people” “impacting a few.”
Pretzker said: “By the way, we have to stand up for the most vulnerable people in society. And for me, Democrats have always been supporting it. We will continue to support it. But we need to make sure that we don't go down the rabbit hole that the Republicans have set for us, right? What are the issues that affect the very few people? By the way, we should stand up for them. By the way, chasing the smallest minority is cruel, right? To attack them viciously. That's why it's the Democratic instinct to stand up and say it's wrong because we're a civil rights party. And we're going to stand up for those who need it.”
He said, “But we tend to bite all of these and we need to make sure we are talking widely about the economic issues that affect people's daily lives.”
