Reactions have been poured in as D-Texas Rep. Al Green was removed from his home room Tuesday night to protest in the middle of President Donald Trump's speech to Congress.
However, at the start of the president's remarks, Green and other Democrats were protesting in the “American” chant.
On social media, several conservatives have denounced Green and Democrats, saying their actions were “out of control.”
“Democrats are out of control. They are embarrassed about themselves. Holding the president in a forum like this is not the way they win.”

“Al Green is dishonorable,” Sen. Tom Tillis, RN.C. tweeted. “[Trump] He won the election. #47. ”
“Speaker Mike Johnson ordered the sergeant to force the sergeant to remove the rules for decorating house chambers. Good for speakers. Al Green is a clown,” wrote Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on X.
“Rep. Al Green has been gadrie his whole time in Congress. He is intentionally freed… a shameful act, but absolutely not surprising.”
“I'm tired of it. This is a disgusting behavior on the part of the Democrat,” Megan McCain, daughter of the late Senator John McCain, said in X. “You're in Congress.”

But some believe Democrats have done the right thing.
“Rep. Al Green is a terrible hero,” tweeted by progressive writer and former Hillary Clinton advisor Charlotte Climer.
“If 77-year-old Al Green was confused and could be removed, all other Democrats were obliged to do so.
Speaker Mike Johnson asked the sergeant to escort Democrats from the Chamber of Commerce, which he met with cheers from Republicans. Many of Green's fellow Democrats remained seated while the interaction continued.
