Payton McNabb, a young woman seriously injured by a transgender volleyball player, tore a Congressional Democrat who greeted her with a rude cold shoulder in a speech by President Donald Trump on Tuesday evening.
McNabb suffered traumatic physical and mental injuries when he was injured by a stronger transgender opponent during a high school volleyball game. In Trump's speech, she was in the gallery, but Democrats didn't applaud for her when the president praised her from the podium.
The young woman is now an activist who protects women's sports and said the snub is “heartbreaking.”
“Overall, the Democrats were very rude last night,” McNav said. I said Fox News. “And they didn't stand up for their guests. They didn't stand up against DJ Daniel, a young boy who survived brain cancer. They didn't stand up against the family of Laken Riley, who literally tormented a traumatic death that his daughter literally never happened.
McNab said, “So it was heartbreaking, so honestly I wish I was surprised, but that's not the case.”
Democrats are also blocking bills to protect women from dangerous trans athletes, not just in Congress, but in all states in which they have the power to do so. McNabb says this proves that Democrats don't care about women.
“The Democrats have failed women. They don't care,” exclaimed McNab. “The fact that even their own daughters didn't pass this bill is totally heartbreaking. I'm not alone. There are a lot of female athletes who share their stories, but as they don't know. It's insane that this is a hill where they'll be happy to die for./'
“It's just sad…it's just embarrassing,” she said.
Activists also alleged Tuesday evening that Democrats were embarrassed by the nation, “they were embarrassed by their party and their country, and the way they acted completely rudely.”
“It was incredible. This is the type I'll remember for the rest of my life,” concluded McNab.
