President Donald Trump provided some of the most “terrifying” waste examples discovered by his newly formed Government Efficiency (DOGE), exhibiting this harsh reality on millions of Americans watching a joint session of Congress on Tuesday evening.
“Listen to some of the horrible waste we've already identified,” Trump said after highlighting the Elon Musk-led Doge. He then listed some examples of how the federal government wasted US taxpayer dollars.
“…$22 billion from HHS to provide free housing and cars to illegal aliens. $45 million for Burma's diversity equity and inclusion scholarships. $40 million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary immigrants,” Trump sparked laughs in the room, adding, “No one knows what it is.”
“…No one has heard of $8 million to promote LGBTQI+ Plus in the Lesotho nation in Africa,” he said. “$60 million for the empowerment of Central America and Afro-Colombia. $60 million.”
“… $8 million to make mouse transgender,” he continued, reminding Americans that this is “real.”
“…$32 million for left-wing propaganda projects in Moldova. $10 million email circumcision in Mozambique. $20 million for Arab Sesame Street in the Middle East…$20 million for the program. $1.9 billion, which recently created a decarbonisation of a house that was recently created. I know she's involved. In the last moment, the money was taken over by a woman named Stacey Abrams,” he continued.
Trump also highlighted “illegal alien hotel rooms” to increase the $3.5 million consulting agreement for “granduring fish,” $1.5 million for “voter trust in Liberia,” $14 million for “Mali social cohesion,” $59 million for “New York City's illegal alien hotel rooms,” and “Vegan local climate action innovations for “Vegan local climate action innovations in Zambia.” $47 million for procurement in Serbia and “improvement of Asian learning outcomes.”
Trump pointed out that the US should use that $47 million for ourselves.
“…$101 million for a DEI contract with the Department of Education,” he said, not naming all the worst ways US taxes have been wasted.
“They're very bad. Many more people were discovered, exposed, very intelligent, and quickly fired by a group of mostly young people. Thank you. We found a multi-billion dollar scam. We got the money back and reduced our debts to fight inflation and more,” Trump said.
