According to the report, Washington City Council members will hold a special meeting a few days after they have appointed a new councillor to identify as “bisexual transwomen.”
Mynorthwest.com reported that Jessica Roberts was his original choice to fill the free seats at the Lynnwood City Council, but on Thursday the council will consider withdrawing the appointment after Roberts discovered that he has an account on a subscription-based platform where several creators share explicit photos, videos and messages.
While Roberts' account was being deleted, the account's bio reportedly identified Roberts as a “bisexual transwoman.” The bio also includes graphic details about Roberts' body parts. Publications reported.
The council recently appointed Roberts to fill the vacant seats.

After Roberts' appointment, council members began hearing from residents who recognized the new appointee from the only fan page.
“I have similar questions to the city clerks and executive assistants, and I have questions about the 'blind' appointment process,” Councilman Delica Escamilla told Mynorthwest.com in an email.
Escamilla answered questions about whether councillors are permitted to have only fan accounts.

Another councillor, Patrick Decker, spoke to publications that he was unaware of Roberts' views, adding that his views and activities of serving the public as a member of the city council “in line with gravity and severity.”
Lynnwood officials did not respond to requests for comment regarding the issue of Fox News Digital.
City officials posted about Roberts' appointment in a Facebook post Monday.

“The council interviewed their top candidates in the beginning of February and voted to select an appointees tonight,” Post said. “On March 17th, 2025, during the work session meeting, she took the vows of office and will be sitting soon.”
The post also noted that a formal announcement will be offered next week, including a biography and quote from Roberts.
That could all change after the council meets this week.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 7pm, with council members serving in elected positions assessing Roberts' qualifications.
The agenda posted on the city's website indicates that after the assessment, council members will consider withdrawing their appointment or discussing the next steps in the process.
