President Donald Trump has submitted a summary of his call with President Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, in hopes of ending a “terrifying, bloody” war in Ukraine.
The US has announced a breakthrough in reaching an agreement with Ukraine for a ceasefire deal, but Putin said he would demand more concessions even if he expresses his desire to reach an agreement.
“I urged President Putin to spare their lives.”
Trump posted him statement On his official account on Truth Social Friday.
“I had a very good and productive discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday. It's very likely that this horrible, bloody war will finally end,” he wrote.
Certain warfare negotiations were significantly worsened when discordant publicly exploded between White House President J.D. V. V. V. and Ukrainian President Voldy Mie Zelensky. Trump then said that Ukraine would deal with Russia more because it “doesn't have the cards.”

Trump went on to say he is trying to prevent massacres on the scale of people during World War II.
“At this moment, thousands of Ukrainian troops are completely surrounded by Russian troops, and are in a very bad and vulnerable position,” he emphasized. “I urged President Putin to escape their lives. This is a terrible massacre, something that hasn't been seen since World War II. God bless them!!!”
The war has now marked its fourth year with hundreds of thousands of casualties, but it is difficult to determine more accurate numbers. Polls show support for Ukraine and Zelensky has been declining among Americans since the start of the war in 2022.
