California School Settles with Student Accused of Wearing ‘Black Face’ to Football Game

The California boy, accused of wearing a “black face” during a school football game, declares his victory after his school agrees to erase records and erase the suspension.

Daniel Ameduri was accused of racism in October 2023 by an administrator at Mirland Middle School in La Jolla, California.

A week after the match, Ameduri finds himself suspended from school due to racist behavior.

In an official notice to the family, the school argued that the boy “drawn his face in a soccer match” was “aggressive comment, intent to cause harm.”

The school's verdict shocked the family as no one spoke about “racism” during or shortly after the game. No one in the stand seems to pay any attention to the boy's face.

Daniel's family claimed that they only smeared harmless football eyes on their faces for “false allegations” of racism, and that the boy only smeared harmless football eyes on his face for the enjoyment of cheering on the school team.

“Blackface's false allegations regarding JA's permanent school records could affect both his education and future career opportunities.” I said Fox News.

The court approved a settlement with the family's school, demanding that the school permanently erase the disciplinary action, and has previously ruled out school officials from mentioning the case in official documents and correspondence.

“It's reassuring that the district has finally fixed this fraud,” Swegart added. “Students must fight to clear their names over unfounded accusations. That's why organizations like the Center for American Freedom exist, ensuring fairness and protecting fundamental rights.”
