Elon Musk’s Tesla was removed from the Vancouver International Auto Show

Vancouver's International Auto Show launches Tesla from its annual exhibition on safety concerns.

Eric Nicole, the show's executive director, told Fox Business that he “removed Tesla as a participant in this week's event.”

“The main concern with the Vancouver Auto Show is the safety of our participants, exhibitors and staff,” he said. “This decision will allow all participants to focus solely on enjoying many positive elements of the event.”

The “DogeQuest” website claims and posts personal information from Tesla owners online.

In Oregon, someone shot a Tesla dealer and vehicle parked last week, according to the Associated Press. Several Tesla charging stations are also on fire in Massachusetts.

The Metropolitan Police Department in Las Vegas said someone used a “burned device device” because they “burned multiple Tesla vehicles” at the Tesla crash center early Tuesday morning. Vandal is also said to have shot a Tesla vehicle there.

Before organizers of the Vancouver International Auto Show took the safety motive steps to remove the masked electric car company, Tesla was “provided multiple opportunities to voluntarily withdraw from the event,” Nicole said.

Tesla has been targeted for “vicious violence,” the White House says.

The Vancouver International Auto Show describes itself as “the Western Canada Premier Automotive Experience and the Consumer Show of BC's Best Attendants.” According to the website, this year's multi-day car show edition begins Wednesday and has numerous manufacturers, dealers and businesses holding displays.

On Tuesday, Attorney General Pam Bondy recently called the US “a swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property,” and in a press release called it “nothing but domestic terrorism.”
