The angel family of Camilia Williams, the mother of five children and grandmother, says that without former President Joe Biden's border policy, their loved ones are still alive today.
That's what David Hector Rivas Sagustum, an illegal alien, 21 years old. Arrest He was charged with felony murder and aggravated assault on the death of 52-year-old Kamilia Williams by the Cobb County Police Department in Georgia.
Police say Rivas-Sagastume stalked Camillia on March 12, then put it in a chokehold, kneeling on his neck with weight, and dumping his unvigorated body in a nearby wooded area.
Camilia's family says the murder would have been completely avoided unless it was due to Biden's border policy and loose immigration enforcement.
Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that Rivas-Sagastume crossed the US-Mexico border on March 17, 2021 and was arrested by Border Patrol agents.
He was then given a notice of appearance before a federal immigration judge (NTA) and released inside the US as part of Biden's parole pipeline. By July 2023, the judge ordered him to be deported from the United States, but he was not taken to ice custody.
“I think this could have been avoided if this guy was deported when he was first caught,” said Camilia's nie, Daniel Williams. I said News Nation. “Now he killed my aunt. I don't know what else this guy did.”
“The police knew about these individuals. They had records but they didn't seem to have been acted on. Why weren't these people tested here yet?
Similarly, Camilia's brother, Arthene Williams I said FOX5 Atlanta should have expelled illegal foreigners when a judge expelled him in 2023.
“In March 2025, my sister lost her life because the system couldn't banish him after he had taken him into custody,” Arsen said.
But now, the angel family doesn't want Rivas Sagastoum to be deported from the United States, but rather has been convicted and sentenced to death.
“He doesn't need to be deported. He… needs to be executed – the same way he executed my sister,” Camilia's brother Tony Williams said. I said WCSC 5.
ICE agents placed detainees in Rivas-Sagastume and requested custody of him if he was released from Cobb County custody at any time. He is in prison without being held.
“President Trump and Secretary Noem will not allow illegal foreigners of criminals, including criminal murderers, to be loosened on the streets of America,” an ICE official said in a statement.
Camilia's family hopes the Trump administration will improve the issue of illegal immigration so that other American families do not fall victim to them.
“They feel they are going to do what they should have done years ago to prevent my aunt's death,” Daniel told News Nation. “I hope something better is going on than what's been done before.”
For those who don't believe illegal immigration is the problem, Daniel said a photo of Aunt Camilia, “Let us know this is for you, along with countless other people who have been killed by illegal people.”
