FIFA to donate $1 million toward local sports programs ahead of events at MetLife Stadium

New York and New Jersey are already beginning to benefit as one of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2026, one of the hotspots of FIFA's two major events.

On Thursday, FIFA Chairman Gianni Infantino announced that global soccer organizations will donate $1 million to the region to support community-focused sports programs and projects.

This is part of a $11 million investment in cities where club games are scheduled to be held, including Charlotte, Sincon, Cincinnati, Sincon, Florida, Florida, Philadelphia, Washington, Miami in New York, North Carolina, Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Cincinnati, New York and other cities.

“We want to do something for the community, because one of the things that are hitting me here in North America is that this has to change – there are no enough facilities to play football in the right environment,” Infantino said in a statement. “So, it's something we have to do to contribute to building something in the city's most needed area. That's our responsibility and we hope that many people will follow this.”

MetLife Stadium will host both major tournaments and will be the site for the final match of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, which will begin on June 14th.
