The pair of organizations, funded in part by a network of left-wing nonprofits and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), is behind a lawsuit that previously successfully blocked President Donald Trump from deporting immigrants who have been released to the United States through former President Joe Bydan’s parole force.
In March, Trump revoked parole for around 532,000 immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela, and was released inside the US by the Biden administration despite his lack of legal status.
As a result, the Trump administration said such immigrants need to face self-declaration from the United States and deportation by the Immigration Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE).
Judicial Action Center and Human Rights First I sued The Trump administration has argued that the president has no authority to cancel Biden’s parole pipeline, thus deporting more than half a million migrants.
This week, US District Judge Indira Talwani – appointed by former President Barack Obama issued Stays, preventing the Trump administration from ending the parole pipeline:
End of parole process for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans, 90 Fed. reg. 13611 (March 25, 2025), which pending further court orders Without a case-by-case review, it was heading towards the end of the original parole as long as the previously granted parole and work approval issued to non-citizens who were paroleed to the US pursuant to the parole program of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela (the “CHNV Parole Program”) was revoked. The Center for Justice Action and Human Rights are the two organisations that initially represent Biden’s parole immigrants.
2023: Soros Network’s Open Society Foundation It was rewarded The Center for Justice Action with a $450,000 grant for “general support” of the organization’s mission.
Similarly, between 2016 and 2021, the foundations of the Soros Network’s Open Society were almost thrown $6.2 million First, as a source of human rights.
This is not a lawsuit involving Soros that attempts to stop Trump’s immigration agenda.
As Breitbart News reported last month, the democratic forward organizations associated with Soros were partly behind a lawsuit that attempted to block Trump from using alien enemy laws to deport illegal alien gang members from the United States.
