The Donald Trump administration on Tuesday mentioned New York Attorney General Lettia James, who targeted Trump, for potential prosecution for alleged mortgage fraud.

The allegations of counterfeiting occurred “a few weeks before James began a civil fraud trial against the Trump organization.” New York Post It has been reported.

“Mr. James is the Attorney General of New York and requires that he have a major residence in New York. It is listed.
“James’ property and mortgage-related misrepresentations appear to continue their recent 2023 Norfolk, Virginia property purchases to ensure lower interest rates and more favorable loan terms,” the introduction continued.
The letter also noted that in 2001 James purchased five households of property in Brooklyn, New York. However, she “consistently misrepresents the same property, with only four units in both the building permit application and the numerous mortgage documents and applications.”

In Wednesday’s column, he and George Washington University professor Jonathan Turley. New York Post columnist, I said “The allegations of false statements are particularly awful for anyone who claims she has zero tolerance for such irregularities and errors in her financial application.”
Tarly said the Justice Department has charged people who committed the “general fraud.”
The law professor said James might not be able to argue that a third party acted on her behalf and therefore exempts potential crimes. She repeatedly rejected the allegations during a civil lawsuit against the Trump organization.
Tali wrote:
James could argue that these expressions were made by third parties acting on her behalf.
But that’s exactly the argument that she repeatedly refused in Trump’s case, claiming that he is legally obligated to consider all applications for his name or his company.
Turley concluded a column that predicted that James would certainly not approve of this type of prosecution as essential after arguing that “no one is beyond the law, no matter how big, rich or strong you are.”
