Trump admin asks IRS to revoke Harvard’s tax-exempt status

The Trump administration has asked the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to revoke Harvard’s tax-free status.

The failure of Ivy League School to address anti-Semitism on campus is the basis for losing its 501(c)(3) status, a Fox News source said.

According to CNN, the IRS is expected to make a final decision on Harvard’s tax exemption soon.

In a recent social media post, President Donald Trump claimed Harvard University was “lost a way” and was unworthy of federal funds.

“Harvard hires almost every awakened, radical left, idiot, “birdbrain,” who can teach students about failure and only teach so-called “future leaders,” Trump writes.

“Look at the recent past of their plagiarism presidents who were so embarrassed by Harvard before the United States Congress.”

“Like these left-wing dopes, many others teach at Harvard University. So Harvard can no longer be considered a place of study and should not be considered in the list of great universities and universities in the world,” he continued.

“Harvard is a joke, teaches hatred and stupidity and should no longer receive federal funds.”

The development takes place less than three weeks after the Justice Department announced a “comprehensive review” of federal contracts and government-funded grants at Harvard University.

Citing its ambition to eliminate anti-Semitism on campus, following a similar move against Columbia University, the Department of Education said that if a contract between Harvard, its affiliates and the federal government exceeds $255.6 million, another $9 billion worth of grants will be reviewed.

“For generations, Harvard has served as a symbol of American dreams. It is the pinnacle of students from all over the world working hard and enrolling in renowned institutions.”.

“Harvard University failed to protect students on campus from anti-Semitism. [sic] Discrimination – while everything promotes more divisive ideology than free investigation – puts its reputation at serious risk. ”
