Man Accused of Raping California Woman He Met on Dating App

A man from Fontana, California has been accused of raping a woman he met on a dating app after claiming he had used several different alias online.

The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Oscar Silva Morales of San Bernardino, was arrested on Thursday on ABC 7 It has been reported on friday.

Fontana police officer Stephen Reid said he was arrested in that case after law enforcement reported raping a local woman in May. The suspect later connected with another victim in Orange County.

Reed said the suspect reportedly contacted the victim on a dating site and then sent messages via apps such as Snapchat to meet up. During a meeting in a public park, the men are accused of persuading them to ride the car that sacrificed them.

Now, law enforcement is afraid there will be more casualties.

“Through the statement he gave to investigators, they believe there will still be multiple victims there who have not yet been identified. Maybe they are afraid to come forward, maybe they are minors,” Reid said.

Victims are encouraged to come forward and should know that they have done nothing wrong. According to Reed, their support will help prevent suspects from targeting others.

In 2018, she was accused of killing and raping multiple women using a dating app known as Tinder, the New York City Police Department said according to Breitbart News.

A few years later, in 2022, an Oregon elementary school teacher was arrested on allegedly attempting to rape a child.

“The Redmond police in Washington said detectives will undercover investigations with decoy profiles on social media and dating apps to contact and meet suspects in the case,” a Breitbart news article read. “In the beginning, Andrew Hammond (50) was told he was chatting with a 14-year-old girl in October, and eventually he communicated with another Redmond detective, believing that he was 13.”
