China’s foreign minister said in a call with Pakistani counterpart Mohammaduishakdar on Sunday that he was closely following the situation in China’s state media, India and Pakistan. Global Times I said in Report.
The king told Dar that China has supported an impartial investigation into the Pahargam terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 tourists.
China also hopes that both sides will exercise restraint, move towards each other and work to remove tension, Wang, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of China’s Central Committee, said during the phone call.
Pakistani leaders explained to the King about the latest developments in tension between two neighbors following the terrorist attacks.
India has already taken a series of actions against Pakistan. For example, it suspends the Indus Waters Treaty and prohibits all Pakistani visas.
The fight against terrorism constitutes the common responsibility of all countries, and Wang said China is consistently supporting Pakistan’s solid counterterrorism actions.
At least 537 Pakistani nationals have left India over the past three days after the deadline for short-term visa holders closes today, officials told news agency ANI.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has covered the Pahargam terrorist attacks. NIA officials are on the attack site, a popular tourist spot. This is sealed to avoid contamination of the evidence.
The team has also questioned witnesses of the April 22 terrorist attack.
