Musician Neil Young praises China by debuting a new song in which he attacks Elon Musk, claiming that Tesla buyers are fascists.
Young recently performed at The Light Up the BluesA concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles along with Stephen Stills, Billy Idol, Cat Power, Rufus Wainwright and Linda Perry. The annual charity concert raises funds for autism talk.
“If you're a fascist, get a Tesla.”
Young ranted about Musk, Tesla vehicles and China in his latest song.
“If you're a fascist, get Tesla /It's electricity, it's not important /You taste your freedom /Sweet what you want, taste your freedom” Video clips Posted online.
The singer-songwriter behind classic songs like “Rockin' in the Free World” and “Heart of Gold” has urged American automakers to challenge Tesla, dominating the electric car market. Young also praised China for being “ahead” for the US in building “clean cars.”
“Come on, Ford, come on, GM/Come on, Chrysler, let's roll again,” Young sang. “Build something special and people live for us/don't kill children/need a safe way to build/build/build us/build us/make us.
The politically recharged song is titled “Let's Roll Again.” Daily Beast.
Liberals have never been more common since Musk publicly supported Donald Trump in the 2024 election, and since Tesla's CEO was appointed government's Director of Efficiency.
Tesla vehicles have been destroyed nationwide, and Tesla dealers have been raged by militant leftists who have been raging in musks due to his role in the vain and fraudulent federal spending.
This is not the first time a young man has used his music as a weapon to create a political message.
In 2020, Young sued Trump for using “Rockin in the Free World” in his first reelection campaign. However, Young stopped litigating.
As Blaze News reported in January 2022, Young requested that Joe Rogan be terminated or censored by Spotify to “spread fake information about the vaccine.” The ultimatum backfired completely, with Spotify holding Rogan and instead removing Young's music.
Last month, Young, who has Canadian and US citizenship, argued that the Trump administration would ban him from returning to the US.
“When you play music in Europe, when you talk about Donald J. Trump, I might be one of those people sleeping on cement floors in an aluminum blanket or back in America where I was jailed,” Young said. Variety. “It's happening all the time. There's new advice in the US for those returning to America. You can read about it on your desk in Canada. If you're back from Europe and can't play my US tour, then everyone who bought a ticket won't be able to come to the concert.”
