Homan Cautions AOC About Helping Illegal Immigrants Avoid ICE After Her Provocation: ‘The Tables Have Turned’

Border Tensions Rise Over Education on Law Enforcement

Recently, Tom Homan, often dubbed the “Border Emperor,” cautioned Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez regarding her efforts to, well, educate undocumented individuals on avoiding law enforcement tactics following her outreach in the “border area.”

During a City Hall gathering last Friday, Ocasio-Cortez challenged Homan’s remarks.

“Tom Homan claims he’s using my free speech rights to guide people on constitutional protections, so he threatens to refer me to the DOJ. I mean, nothing I’m doing is illegal,” she stated.

In response to criticism about her approach, Ocasio-Cortez implied that individuals have rights and should not feel compelled to comply without proper documentation.

“I don’t even want to deport them. They have rights in many situations. If they want to come to your door, just ask for a warrant. If they don’t produce one, simply tell them to come back,” she emphasized.

Homan retorted, warning that she might be infringing federal laws.

“I take joy in living in her head rent-free every day, but we all see what she’s really doing,” Homan told reporters.

Homan further elaborated, expressing concern that Ocasio-Cortez is informing individuals on evading law enforcement measures.

“She’s teaching people the worst ways to avoid law enforcement. The situation has shifted. She’s not just talking; she’s inadvertently guiding them on how to refuse compliance with legal orders,” he remarked.

“Engaging in actions to resist removal orders is a crime. People must understand that they cannot negate removal directives set by federal judges. I suggest AOC review US Code 1253,” he noted.

Moreover, Homan mentioned efforts by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to significantly increase their presence in sanctuary cities.

“Our goal is to saturate the area with agents. If we can’t detain individuals in facilities, we will locate them within their communities or workplaces,” he stated.
