A Tesla driver, who was previously convicted of road rage in Southern California, has been arrested again, this time for a similar incident in Hawaii.
Nathaniel Radimac, 39, faces charges for allegedly assaulting an 18-year-old girl and her 35-year-old mother on May 7, according to the Honolulu Police Department. The teenager had just parked her vehicle downtown when Radimac’s grey Tesla sped by. It seems they “exchanged words” before he jumped out of his car and attacked them, then fled the scene. The car involved was identified as a 2022 grey Tesla with an Oregon license plate.
Honolulu police located Radimac in the Waikiki area the next day and arrested him. He had been released from prison in August after serving just under a year of a five-year sentence due to a series of violent attacks. In September 2023, he pleaded guilty to charges that included assault, vandalism, and threats against individuals.
Radimac is known for using pipes to attack victims and had a pattern of driving Teslas during these incidents. After serving his sentence, he received credit for time served and was eligible for further good behavior credits.
Upon his arrest in Hawaii, Radimac was charged with first-degree unauthorized entry into a vehicle and two counts of third-degree assault. His bail has been set at $100,000, and he was also taken into custody on a parole violation warrant.
