President Donald Trump has announced that Qatar is providing the United States with a beautiful Boeing 747 jet at no cost.
“So, the Pentagon is giving away these 747 aircraft for free to temporarily replace the 40-year-old Air Force jets in a very transparent deal, while those troubling Democrats insist on payment,” Trump stated in a post on True Social. “Anyone can do that! Dems are world-class losers!!! Maga.”
The Trump administration is reportedly gearing up to accept this stunning Boeing 747 from Qatar.
“During President Trump’s upcoming visit, the jets are expected to be part of the proceedings,” Al Ansari mentioned. “The option of transferring the aircraft for temporary use by the Air Force is currently being discussed between Qatar’s Ministry of Defense and the US Department of Defense, though their legal teams are still reviewing the matter and no decisions have yet been made.”
Trump’s statement arises as a “source of knowledge regarding the proposed deal.” Reportedly, the Trump administration is “prepared to accept” this Boeing 747, often referred to as the “flying palace.”
This aircraft, which Trump inspected in February, could serve as the “new Air Force 1” while he is in office, and subsequently, its ownership would be passed to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation:
The Trump administration might be poised to receive one of the most significant gifts from a foreign government—the ultra-luxurious Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from Qatar’s royal family.
Lawyers from the White House and the Department of Justice (DOJ) have reportedly created an analysis for Defense Secretary Pete Hegses, confirming the legality of accepting the plane from Qatar and transferring it to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation, according to sources.
“Gifts from foreign governments are always accepted in full compliance with applicable laws,” said White House press chief Karoline Leavitt in a statement. “President Trump’s administration is committed to full transparency.”
In February, Nick Gilbertson from Breitbart News reported on Trump’s inspection of a new Boeing plane. A source noted at the time, “We have emphasized the company has yet to produce a single new Air Force aircraft,” following Trump’s contract with the company in 2018.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday, Trump expressed frustration with Boeing’s delays in producing two presidential aircraft as stipulated in his 2018 deal.
One of the updated Air Force planes was initially set for completion by 2024, but the timeline has since been pushed to “2027 for the first plane” and “2028” for the next one, as reported by the Associated Press.
