Six months after introducing the term “soft swing,” Hulu’s hit #Momtok series is making a return.
“The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife” is now streaming, and its second season has begun to stir conversations online.
This saga goes back to 2022 when Taylor Frankie Paul, a unique Mormon influencer and now the star of the show, shared that she and her then-husband Tate had engaged in a “soft swing” arrangement with other Mormon couples.
As a result, some in the #momtok community have distanced themselves from Paul, an impact that was explored in the show’s first season.
So, who is Miranda McWhorter? Well, she had previously stayed away from the “soft swing” lifestyle, but now she’s a full-time cast member in season 2 after her own divorce.

Hulu has not made an official announcement regarding a third season, but reports suggest that the streaming service ordered an additional 20 episodes after season 1, which debuted in October 2024. With just 10 episodes this season, it seems there might be more to come.
