Washington – A New Flag with 51 Stars Causes Buzz
Recently, an intriguing sight has appeared in the capital: an American flag featuring 51 stars instead of the usual 50. This unique version was displayed from the White House, visible across Lafayette Park, showcasing green stars positioned beneath the traditional white ones.
Officials in the District of Columbia have long expressed dissatisfaction regarding statehood, but Ryan Lambert, the creator of this flag, holds a different perspective.
“From a strategic standpoint, Greenland makes a lot of sense for America,” Lambert commented, referencing a banner related to Trump’s appointment back in January.
“I want to support America. Enhancing our nation means helping fellow Americans grasp and amplify the president’s message.”
Trump, at 78 years old, has frequently articulated his ambition to acquire Greenland from Denmark, arguing that it would provide the U.S. with valuable Arctic resources.
He has also hinted at the possibility of annexing parts of Canada and the Panama Canal region, though Lambert seems less enthusiastic about those ideas.
“We Americans have constructed canals and taken on the role of Panama,” he pointed out. “Canada is a lovely country with wonderful people, but I’m not sure they need more socialists joining our society.”
“It’s essential for them to understand capitalism and free markets,” he added, emphasizing a desire for a stronger American identity.
To convey his message, Lambert chose to add a green star to the American flag rather than just increasing the number of white stars on the blue field. “It makes it noticeable, right? We’ll design it in a way that reflects quality and intention,” he explained.
Lambert mentioned that most onlookers who passed by expressed enthusiasm about the flag, although he acknowledged, “There’s always someone who isn’t on board.”
“Someone will always oppose,” he remarked. “People fear change, but without Alaska and Hawaii, we wouldn’t be the nation we are today.”
No response from the White House was available immediately regarding the flag’s display.
