He had tweeted about the chaotic situation, criticizing local leaders for their handling of the protests, asserting that they were merely “troublemakers and rebels.” He also engaged with Vice President JD Vance’s take on the riots, emphasizing the need for strong leadership.
Trump hasn’t been shy about expressing his disappointment with Musk recently, especially regarding criticism of a spending bill related to electric vehicle incentives.
