Last Saturday, Israel escalated its military campaign with strikes targeting Iranian gas and oil facilities, as well as missile launch sites in Tehran.
In response, former President Donald Trump asserted on social media that the U.S. was not involved in these attacks, but warned that if Iran were to retaliate, the U.S. military would respond with unprecedented force.
He suggested a potential path to peace, stating that brokering a deal between Iran and Israel could bring an end to the ongoing violence.
The U.S. maintains a significant presence in the region, including military assets like fighter jets, Navy destroyers, and missile defense systems positioned close to Israel.

According to Blazetv host Sarah Gonzalez, Trump’s message hints at possible U.S. involvement if Iranian attacks affect American assets. She pointed out that Trump’s statement was rather emphatic, indicating that retaliation could be carried out at a scale never before seen.
Gonzalez went on to explain that the U.S. already utilizes various assets to defend Israel, suggesting that if Iran targets these systems, it wouldn’t come as a surprise.
In a concurrent reaction, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi stated that there is clear evidence of U.S. support for attacks in the region. He claimed that the U.S. should bear responsibility for these strikes, viewing it as a partner in the conflict.
Gonzalez remarked that it’s challenging for the U.S. to dismiss these claims, especially since Trump recently discussed Israel’s reliance on American weaponry.
She employed a comparison to gun manufacturers, stating that just as they aren’t to blame for gun violence, the U.S. shouldn’t be held responsible for Iran’s actions.
“This is on Iran,” she concluded.
