Trump hints at regime change following significant strikes on Iran

Trump Suggests Change in Iranian Leadership After US Strike

On Sunday, former President Donald Trump remarked that a shift in Iranian leadership might occur if the current regime fails to “make Iran great again.” This statement followed a significant US military operation targeting key Iranian nuclear facilities on Saturday.

In a post on his social media platform, Trump questioned why there hasn’t been a change in the Iranian government’s approach, especially after a substantial setback. He noted, “It’s not politically correct to say ‘change of government,’ but if the current Iranian regime can’t make Iran great again, why hasn’t there been a change?” He ended his thoughts with an emphatic “Miga!!!”

Earlier that same day, Trump highlighted the successful return of the B-2 stealth bomber, celebrating its mission that concluded safely at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. He expressed pride in the military’s accomplishments, referring to the damage inflicted on Iranian sites as “monologic” and pushed back against criticism regarding the mission’s effectiveness.

Visual evidence, including satellite imagery, showcased the aftermath of the US airstrikes on the Fordow nuclear site, raising concerns about the state of Iran’s nuclear program post-strike.

Trump, in further posts, reiterated the harm done to the nuclear facility, describing the precision of the hits as “difficult and accurate.” He expressed gratitude towards the military, emphasizing their demonstrated competence during the operation.

The strikes involved a significant aerial effort, with over 125 aircraft, including a coordinated array of B-2 stealth bombers, advanced fighter jets, and various support aircraft, targeting locations like Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
