Iran Delivers Last Missile Strikes on Israel; 3 Civilians Die

Iranian Regime’s Recent Attacks Amid Ceasefire Announcement

Early Tuesday morning, the Iranian regime was on the brink of a ceasefire but still launched attacks that resulted in at least four casualties, including three civilians in Be’er Sheva, due to Israeli missile strikes.

The day prior, US President Donald Trump called for a ceasefire, emphasizing “love, peace, and prosperity” in the region. However, the Iranian regime seemed intent on making a significant statement, as it continued to fire missiles about an hour and a half leading up to the proposed ceasefire.

According to Israeli Army Radio, the missile barrage directed at Be’er Sheva involved only four missiles, though one managed to hit a densely populated area despite three being intercepted by Israeli air defenses.

The ceasefire was scheduled to take effect at 7 AM local time in Tel Aviv and 7:30 AM in Tehran, which operates on a unique 30-minute offset. In the closing moments of the conflict, both sides ramped up their assaults. Israel targeted military and political sites, while Iran aimed missiles at civilian areas, resulting in no military injuries on Iran’s side.

It’s not unusual for violence to escalate just before a ceasefire. Israeli airstrikes focused on neutralizing Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities and nuclear ambitions, with reports suggesting one target was an Iranian nuclear scientist. On the other hand, the Iranian strikes appeared designed to instill fear and uncertainly among the Israeli populace, prompting many to seek shelter and gather in secure locations.
