A new ad campaign supporting ICE is set to remind Americans about the risks posed by criminal illegal immigrants entering the country during the Biden administration, just ahead of President Trump’s upcoming State of the Union address.
The 30-second advertisement, named “Forget,” will be broadcast nationally and on digital platforms, especially targeting Washington, D.C., and swing states like Georgia, Michigan, and North Carolina.
This initiative, spearheaded by a conservative nonprofit called American Sovereignty, involves significant investment in advertising.
“They want us to forget that they have allowed dangerous criminals into our country for years. They want us to forget their names, and they want us to forget who took us. They want to give sanctuary to dangerous illegal immigrants who are violating federal law, causing chaos, and putting our safety at risk,” a female voice narrates.
“Enough is enough,” she continues. “We must let Immigration and Customs Enforcement do their job, remove dangerous criminals from our neighborhoods, and keep America safe.”
The ad references the tragic case of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungarei, alongside mentioning Kayla Hamilton, Laken Riley, and Rachel Morin, all reportedly victims of criminal illegal immigrants who came into the country during the current administration.
The ad also touches on incidents involving a Democratic judge in New Mexico who allegedly harbored a gang member and another judge in Wisconsin, convicted for assisting illegal immigrants in avoiding arrests.
Earlier this month, American Sovereignty stirred up controversy by placing pro-ICE billboards in San Francisco, coinciding with the Super Bowl, drawing ire from local residents in the predominantly liberal city.
The group’s latest campaign appears amid polling that suggests a considerable portion of the American public advocates for the deportation of criminal illegal immigrants.
A recent survey highlighted that 79% of likely voters in swing states including Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin support the idea of requiring illegal immigrants with criminal records to leave the U.S. Additionally, a separate poll found that 61% of respondents favored deporting these individuals, while 54% supported ICE’s role in enforcing immigration laws.
