According to Reddit users who said they were on a plane, the hotspot was named “I have a bomb.” Reddit users said police claimed the issue was caused by a mischievous passenger.

Austin police told Fox News Digital that the plane had returned to the gate after the warning, where police were sweeping the plane and luggage to search for explosives.
“All passengers were exhausted and rescreened by the Transportation Security Agency before they were allowed to board again,” a police spokesman said.

“We and our partners take the threat of bombs very seriously,” Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“Safety and security are our number one priority. We would like to thank our team members for their understanding and professionalism,” American Airlines told Fox News Digital in a statement.
Police said the incident had no major impact on other airlines or airport operations.
