Bears Super Bowl Champ Jim McMahon Slams Biden on Border Crisis, Pushes Cannabis

Former Chicago Bears Super Bowl-winning quarterback Jim McMahon has slammed the Biden administration for its dismal failure on immigration, promoted his cannabis company, and even said in a recent Fox News interview that he will someday become president. He even hinted that he might run for office.

McMahon, known as “Punky QB” during the Bears’ heyday in the 1980s, is a co-founder of the cannabis company Revenant with former All-Pro offensive lineman Kyle Turley, the report said. fox news.

Turley and McMahon are sponsoring the SAFE Banking Act, which, if passed, would force the banking industry to protect the franchises of state-licensed cannabis companies. Some banks refuse to do business with marijuana companies because marijuana remains a federal crime, even though many states have loosened regulations on its production and sale.

Versions of this bill have passed several times in the House of Representatives, but have been rejected each time by the U.S. Senate.

But McMahon had more to say to Fox News than concerns about cannabis companies’ ability to operate. He also criticized the Biden administration on a number of fronts.

“We’re trying to bring attention to the deteriorating situation not just in the cannabis industry, but in this country,” McMahon said of the campaign he and Turley started.

“We’re going to make a little noise,” he added. “The cannabis part alone might get us some votes. We’re going to have fun with it. We’re going to try to grow the brand and get people to know about this plant. We’ll see what happens.” Let’s take a look.”

Mr. McMahon was resolute when asked what he would do if he became president.

“If it were me, I would close one border and then go find all the people who came here illegally,” he shouted. “It’s ridiculous. We’re paying this money as taxpayers and it’s not helping us at all. We’re sending it all overseas. No one knows where we’re sending it. , not used here in the United States.”

“Look at California,” he continued. “They receive the most money each year for homelessness and have the worst homeless population in the country, or perhaps the world. There’s a lot that can go wrong. We need to stop the crazy spending and printing money. Let’s close our borders and clean our homes.”
