The iconic Vivas children – Ariel, 5, and Kfir, 2 years old – and their mother, Ciri, are among the four dead hostages to be returned to Israel on Thursday under a ceasefire agreement with Hamas. It has been confirmed. Their father, Yalden, was released alive a few weeks ago, and had no idea of the fate of his wife or two children.
Kfir was only nine months old when he was invited by Palestinians by Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, 2023.
Vivas' children and their mother became a symbol of the entire hostage with their familiar red hair.
