“There are billionaires who buy regular, well-known newspapers and say they're not going to do that anymore, because I don't want to do that,” he said.
“It's going to take some time for this to settle down,” Biden said.
Biden appeared to be referring to the recent decision by prominent billionaire newspaper owners to avoid endorsing the 2024 race between President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. is.
During the friendly press conference, the president was not asked about Harris' loss to Trump, her decision to withdraw from the race, or her controversial pardon of her son Hunter Biden.
Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos has decided to end the paper's tradition of endorsing presidential candidates ahead of elections. As expected by the Liberal paper, the editorial board had already written a letter of support for Harris before Bezos rescinded it.

The move infuriated liberals at the Washington Post, which had previously supported both Hillary Clinton and Biden over Trump and denounced him as the worst president in modern history.
Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, the billionaire owner of the Los Angeles Times, also blocked his liberal editorial board from endorsing Ms. Harris this election cycle, angering his staff and prompting his resignation.

Asked in the rare interview whether he would have done anything differently over the past four years, Biden said he had no regrets “overall” about his presidency.
