Caitlin Jenner in Israel for Pride Parade, Enjoys Evening in a Bomb Shelter

Caitlyn Jenner’s Unusual Evening in Israel

Caitlyn Jenner, who was in Israel to attend a pride festival, found herself in a bomb shelter in Tel Aviv on Friday night as Iran launched a series of ballistic missile attacks on the country.

An Israeli friend shared a selfie with Jenner on social media, humorously asking in Hebrew what one does during a siren alert—”Because you’re drinking wine with Caitlin.”

Jenner had plans to participate in the Tel Aviv Pride parade, which is typically a large LGBTQ+ celebration along the beachfront. However, due to the ongoing conflict, the event was postponed. It’s usually the largest gathering of its kind in the Middle East, though a smaller event took place in Jerusalem. Other Middle Eastern nations do not host similar parades or festivities.

This visit has raised eyebrows, particularly given the backdrop of the conflict.

On social media, Jenner expressed her feelings for Israel, stating, “My heart is forever with Israel. Evil will not win!” She shared images that included the Israeli and U.S. flags, along with a photo of herself at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, her head bowed in reflection.

Interestingly, her guest participation in the Tel Aviv Pride Parade was set against recent Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites, which led to the event’s cancellation out of concern for potential Iranian retaliation.

On Friday morning, Iran fired missiles in response to a significant Israeli airstrike targeting its nuclear facilities and military leadership. Fortunately, most of the missiles were intercepted by Israeli air defense systems. There were reports of injuries, but most were minor.
