Former President Donald Trump’s voters have a “very low standard,” political commentator SE Cupp said Monday on CNN’s “News Central.”
Host Sarah Sidner said: An average of the most closely researched public opinion polls possible. If you’re running a campaign, what are you thinking about right now?”
“I think these polls are tough because the bar for Donald Trump voters is very low and the bar for Joe Biden voters is probably a little too high,” Cupp said.
She continued, “So Donald Trump has a fan base that doesn’t care about all the things that would normally hold a candidate back. And Joe Biden’s voters want better and want more. I think they’re asking for a lot. They’re saying, ‘I am. If you don’t change some of your positions and your rhetoric, I’m going to stay home.’ I think that’s why it’s so tough. . But they’re going to be tight this whole time. ”
Mr Cupp added: “There are a lot of X-factors. We have a third-party candidate that could disrupt this election in a big way. There are challenges ahead. Our economy is changing and it could change the polls and elections in a big way.” Therefore, there are still many unknowns.
