Tesla Road Rage Driver Sentenced to Seven Years
A man dubbed the “Tesla Road Rage Driver” has been handed a seven-year prison sentence following a violent street assault in Hawaii. Nathaniel Radimak received this sentence on Thursday for an incident that occurred in 2025 involving a mother and her 18-year-old daughter in Honolulu.
Radimak, who has a history of similar offenses, acknowledged his behavior during the court proceedings. “I take responsibility. I just feel sorry,” he expressed, as reported by local news. He admitted that this kind of incident shouldn’t happen and remarked on needing long-term treatment, yet he seemed to realize that time alone wouldn’t change what he’s done.
He faced charges for unauthorized entry into a vehicle and third-degree assault, to which he had previously pleaded no contest. Judge Clarissa Marinao noted during sentencing that Radimak had failed to receive necessary medical care and continued substance abuse while on parole for an earlier conviction. She elaborated that his violent past indicated a consistent danger, underscoring that this pattern of behavior makes him a risk not just to himself, but to the public.
On May 7, 2025, Radimak was accused of assaulting both a young woman and her mother after an exchange of words. The victims reported that Radimak emerged from his vehicle to attack them before fleeing the scene in a 2022 gray Tesla with Oregon plates.
The day after the incident, Honolulu police located and arrested him. This arrest occurred shortly after he had been released from a previous five-year sentence, which was tied to a series of assaults in Southern California. He had pleaded guilty to several charges, including assault and criminal intimidation, and was set to be sentenced in 2023.
Radimak had gained notoriety for his behavior, often targeting other drivers, particularly women, with pipes during road rage incidents. Following the arrest, it was revealed that he had received credit for 424 days served while awaiting prior sentencing.
