Sen. John Fetterman urged the Trump administration to stop all nuclear talks with Iran and instead bomb the country’s arms facilities.
Pennsylvania Democrats argued that additional negotiations were pointless as the Trump administration plans to meet Iranian officials on Saturday to dismantle the country’s nuclear program and reach a deal that avoids potential military conflicts.

“You can never negotiate with such a regime that has already destabilized the region for decades. Now there are incredible windows to attack and destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities.”
Fetterman has dispelled warnings from foreign policy experts who believe military strikes could unleash regional wars.

Trump, who pulled the US from the 2015 nuclear agreement, designed to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons during his first term in 2018, threatened to attack Iran unless it reached quickly to eliminate the country’s nuclear enrichment.
Special President’s envoy Steve Witkov is attempting to set up a framework for negotiations between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut and his delegation through consultations planned on Saturday, a week after Washington and Tehran began indirect debate in Oman.
Both countries reportedly appreciated the meeting as they worked to reach Trump peacefully and objectively.
“A few years ago, I fully understood why Trump had withdrawn from Obama’s deal,” Fetterman said.
“Today, I don’t understand why Trump is negotiating with the administration of this disease. The negotiations should consist of a 30,000 pound bomb and an IDF.”
Israel is also paying attention to more limited attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, where Trump officials will be pushing for diplomacy, with less support from Washington.
Fetterman, a supporter of the voice of the Jewish state, recently met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Saturday’s negotiations take place at the home of the Omani Ambassador in Rome’s diplomatic district.
Fetterman did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the post.
