High school officials ban parents for wearing pink wristbands with ‘XX’ after biological male allowed on girls’ soccer team

Parents who support female athletes Banned In Bow, New Hampshire, a student was expelled from a school event for wearing a pink wristband with the letters “XX” written on it.

When parents of students at Bow High School were told the girls' soccer team would be playing against a biologically male opponent, they complained to the school's athletic director, who told them that a federal judge's ruling meant they couldn't prevent it.

“My daughter is playing in the homecoming game this weekend, so I'm not allowed to play until the 23rd.”

Some parents decided to show their support for the biological girls by wearing pink wristbands with the letters “XX” on them to the game between Bow High School and Plymouth Regional High School.

School officials responded by canceling the game, asking parents to remove their wristbands and having police issue “no trespassing” orders against parents.

Anthony Foote sent one of the orders to the New Hampshire Journal, which documented the authorities' overreaction.

“My daughter is playing in the homecoming game this weekend and I'm grounded until the 23rd,” Foote said. “I can't even watch my daughter play at homecoming. It's ridiculous.”

The order stated that because the wristbands were against school policy, he would be banned from all school facilities, including on- and off-campus athletic events.

“The Precinct had to deploy additional police to maintain order. The Precinct had to order you to remove your armband. Play was temporarily suspended as a result of your 'protest' and other actions,” they alleged.

Foote denied disrupting the game and provided the Journal with several videos of the game showing no chanting or shouting that disrupted the game.

The second parent was served with a restraining order and initially refused to speak to the Journal, but later He said he was banned until the end of the sports season.

Foote said she just wants to prevent her daughter and other athletes from being injured by competing against biological males. The report cited an incident in Massachusetts where three female players were injured in a basketball game against a player described as a 6-foot-tall woman.
