Iran Offers $10 Million Reward for Barron Trump's Capture

Threats Against Barron Trump Broadcast by Iranian State TV

An Iranian state television channel has reportedly aired a segment that openly discusses the search for and assassination of Barron Trump, President Donald Trump’s 20-year-old son. This alarming piece included a $10 million bounty for anyone who could successfully carry out the act.

According to the dissident site Iran International, the segment, which lasted about three minutes, was titled “Where to Kill Barron Trump?” and was described as having a particularly explicit nature. It featured eye-catching graphics that displayed surveillance techniques, online activities, and individuals within Barron Trump’s environment.

The report highlighted that the segment illustrated various locations and online platforms allegedly related to the assassination effort, while also attempting to outline social connections surrounding the president’s son and revealing ways to bypass the layers of Secret Service protection in place.

At the end of the segment, it was asserted that “many would be willing” to claim the substantial reward for Barron Trump’s assassination. However, Iran International pointed out that there was no independent verification of any active plot as depicted by the Iranian television.

The mere decision to broadcast content like this on Iranian state television is significant in itself. For years, threats against Trump and other U.S. officials—both past and present—have been a part of Iranian political dialogues and state-affiliated media, often accompanied by accusations of assassination plots attributed to Tehran.

Some of these threats have been specifically aimed at President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. American authorities have ongoing investigations into operatives of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) who are allegedly involved in plans to kill current and former U.S. officials.

During a prolonged state funeral for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in July, supporters of the regime prominently displayed banners demanding President Trump’s assassination.

The Times of Israel (TOI) noted that the Iranian broadcast included animations that purportedly represented Barron Trump’s regular locations and daily activities, like playing video games and socializing with friends.

One of his friends was referred to as “Liam Carter,” although it remained ambiguous whether this person actually exists or if the name was simply used for illustrative purposes.

The video claimed that Barron Trump primarily resides in the student dormitory at New York University’s Washington campus, where he is currently enrolled.

Similar to other videos featuring threats of assassination from Iran, the segment entitled “Where to Kill Barron Trump?” employed flashy graphics that appeared to identify the locations of Barron Trump’s security team at the campus. However, TOI pointed out that it was uncertain whether this depiction was based on factual intelligence collected by Iran.
