Iran has completed its largest-ever missile barrage against Israel, but has warned that a retaliatory attack could necessitate further ballistic response.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said at this week's Asian Cooperation Dialogue summit that Israel should not believe it can act “with impunity,” according to Reuters.
“Our military will respond decisively in the event of any kind of military attack, terrorist act, or any red line that should not be crossed,” Pezeshkian said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with the heads of the country's security services on Wednesday after Iran fired 181 missiles at Israel amid concerns that a deadly regional war was on the horizon. .
According to Reuters, Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani also attended the summit in Doha and called the ongoing violence in the Middle East a “genocide” that Israel is perpetuating.
“It has become abundantly clear that what is happening now is not only turning the Gaza Strip into an area unfit for human habitation in preparation for evacuation, but also genocide,” the Qatari monarch said.

President Biden said: Amid concerns that a deadly regional war is on the horizon, he said Wednesday that he would not support an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities in retaliation for Iran's firing of 181 missiles at Israel. .
“We're going to talk to the Israelis about what they're going to do, but all seven of us… [G7 nations] I agree that they have a right to respond, but they need to respond proportionately,” he said.
But when asked if he would support an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, which Israel has long threatened to do, Biden told reporters: “The answer is no.”
