Video Removed Following First Lady’s Lawyer’s Letter
On a recent episode of the podcast “Political War Room,” Democrat strategist James Carville revealed that his team has taken down a video linking their relationship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, Donald Trump, and Melania Trump. This decision came after receiving a letter from the First Lady’s attorney.
The controversial video, recorded on July 31, featured journalist Judd Legum. Carville mentioned that they had to remove some comments made during the episode after the lawyer’s intervention. He expressed regret regarding his remarks from that episode.
In Carville’s words, “On last week’s podcast, I spoke with Judd Legum. Following the episode, I got a letter from Melania Trump’s lawyer addressing some remarks made in the video title and the episode itself. We noticed their concerns, pulled the video, and edited those comments. We also retracted our statements and issued an apology.”
A screenshot shared by the First Lady shows the video’s title as “James Carville: Epstein Connection – Trump & Melania.” Additionally, the Daily Beast has now withdrawn a July article where the First Lady was described as having a significant connection with Epstein.
In a podcast dated July 26, biographer Michael Wolf discussed the First Lady’s links to Epstein’s circle and mentioned that she met Trump in 1998 through Paolozampoli, founder of the ID model. An article followed, prompting a response from Melania Trump’s lawyer, challenging the framing and headlines of those reports. The Daily Beast’s editor’s note indicated that after reviewing the situation, they decided to retract the article and apologize for any misunderstandings.
According to Wolf, the First Lady had a well-established relationship with Epstein and had met Trump while on Epstein’s plane.
Moreover, Trump is currently pursuing a lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal and two of its reporters over a piece alleging that Epstein had created a painting of a naked woman for his 50th birthday, which Trump has denied.
