Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said “deep left-wing states are using the judicial system as a weapon to stop the will of the people.”
In a post shared on X on Wednesday, the Israeli Prime Minister suggested that the judicial body is no longer acting independently, but is being manipulated to serve the political agenda instead.
“In America and Israel, when strong right-wing leaders win elections, deep left states use the judicial system as weapons to stop the will of the people,” Netanyahu declared, emphasizing the use of such tactics in both Israel and the United States.
“They won't win either place! We stand strong together,” he added, strengthening solidarity between the right-wing movements of both countries.
Netanyahu's remarks denounce not supporting justice, but condemning the use of legal institutions to target political enemies. He faces an ongoing legal battle in Israel, and along with the clash between the Attorney General and Israel's internal security chief, he is about to dismiss his lack of trust.
His comments compare his legal troubles and struggles with established bureaucrats in Israel, and his struggles with President Trump's legal battles in the US also coincides with wider sentiment among conservatives who are concerned that the judicial and bureaucracy is being cooperated with right-wing political leaders.
In response, billionaire tech entrepreneur and X owner Elon Musk appeared to be replying with a simple “100” emoji in favor of Netanyahu's message.
Musk has previously expressed concerns about government overload and political weaponization of institutions.
The issue comes as Israel's Attorney General. Domination Prime Minister Netanyahu cannot dismiss Israeli Security Director Ronen Barr without prior approval from the Senior Appointment Advisory Committee. Netanyahu's efforts over the lack of concern and concern over government security policies and policy changes contradict his efforts to eliminate him amid the wider legal and political tensions surrounding his leadership.
