Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold could face a long prison sentence for suspected kidnapping.

Charges Against Arnold in Florida Airbnb Robbery

Prosecutors allege that Arnold’s rented Airbnb in Largo, Florida, was robbed between January 25 and February 1, with an estimated $250,000 worth of cash and items taken from Lions CB. The specific date of the robbery is unclear, but police noted that Arnold only filed a report on February 3, claiming he hadn’t realized anything was missing until then. They mentioned that Arnold was informed at the scene that no charges would be pressed.

The attorney general’s office argues that Arnold opted to take matters into his own hands instead of dealing with the authorities, reportedly plotting against the three individuals suspected of the crime. Details about the crime first surfaced in April, where Arnold had not yet faced any charges and stated he was in San Francisco for the Super Bowl during the incident.

The victims in this case include Jan Lopez, a driver Arnold had hired, his colleague Daniel Tenesaca, and a third individual whose name has not been disclosed. Allegedly, on February 4, just a day after talking to the police, the three men were drawn to an apartment by two women linked to Arnold. Once there, they faced a violent confrontation involving multiple attackers who beat them, held them at gunpoint, and interrogated them about the robbery.

While Arnold waited outside in a car, one of the women was reportedly on a FaceTime call with him, allegedly overseeing the attack and guiding the actions of those inside the apartment.

Six of Arnold’s associates now face charges related to weapons and kidnapping: Boakai Hilton, Ariana Del Valle, Jasmine Randazzo, Lindell Hudson, Christion Williams, and Freddie Hughes. In a police interview, Arnold referred to Hilton as his “best friend from childhood.”

The two women involved, Del Valle and Randazzo, have accepted plea deals, while others accused are being held without bail. Lopez, who is seen as the main victim, insists he didn’t steal anything and suspects that someone from Arnold’s inner circle may have shifted blame onto them for the missing cash and property.

“Mr. Terion Arnold categorically denies any involvement in the matters underlying the allegations against him and maintains his innocence. There is no reliable evidence linking Mr. Arnold to these allegations. Instead, the government appears to be relying on testimony from multiple convicted felons who may have acknowledged their involvement and have a substantial motive to shift blame in order to reduce their sentences.”

The NFL generally refrains from intervening in situations until the judicial process is concluded, but the gravity of the allegations may compel the league to take action. Arnold’s first court appearance is set for June 25 at 11:30 a.m. ET. The Attorney General’s Office intends to file a pretrial motion to keep Arnold in custody until the trial, which, if approved, might result in him missing the remainder of the 2026 season, depending on the trial’s timing.
