Man discovers his belongings had been oddly moved for weeks, then sees woman he met on a dating app breaking in.

A woman was arrested for breaking into the home of a man she had briefly dated in Pennsylvania, reportedly in a strange bid to rekindle their romance. The man noticed that items in his home had been mysteriously shifted for weeks before the incident.

Lindsay Harris’s unusual situation came to light in late June when she was caught sneaking into the Bucks County residence, according to local law enforcement.

At the time, the victim was inside, carrying a bottle of red wine and Italian ice, presumably preparing for a warm summer evening.

However, what Harris saw as a romantic gesture was quickly deemed a crime by the startled man, who called 911 as soon as he noticed her. Officers arrived promptly and took Harris into custody.

“We received a call about a woman breaking into a home in Fairless Hills. When we got there, we found a 30-year-old female crawling through a window and took her into custody,” Falls County Police Chief Nelson Whitney told local media.

The two had dated briefly since January, having met on a dating app, but the man ended things fairly soon after. Despite this, Harris couldn’t seem to let go and became fixated on him.

“The man didn’t want to continue the relationship, but apparently, the woman did,” Whitney noted.

The victim shared with NBC 10 that he suspected Harris had visited his house several times prior to the late June break-in, and he found various items moved or out of place each time.

Surprisingly, he mentioned that he had never given her his address. As a result of her actions, Harris was arrested and now faces charges of stalking, trespassing, and harassment.
