Man flees social media, gets called out on ESPN after saying he’d eat dog s–t if Florida State loses

Florida State lost and User X is on the run, uninterested in social media or the promised dinner.

The hunt began when X-user @321nole made the incredible promise that he would eat dog feces if Florida State lost by 17 points to Boston University on Monday.

“If FSU loses to BC this weekend I will eat dog poop in a red solo cup with a spoon and post a video of me doing it. Reserve your spot!” the Aug. 27 post read. Barstool Sports.

Florida State fell to 0-2 to start the season with a 28-13 loss to Boston College, as former Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei continued to disappoint.

Screenshots of X's direct messages show the account owner saying goodbye to the social media platform.

“See you next season. This is the end of my time with X! Best of luck everyone,” @321nole reportedly said in a direct message to Barstool's Jack Maguire.

On Monday night, user @321nole was nowhere to be found on social media after the team was not competitive in a game they were expected to win.

Florida State became just the fifth school ranked in the Associated Press top 10 to lose its first two games of a season after losing its opening game at the hands of Georgia Tech in the Irish opener.

Even ESPN is wary of users.

“They're not as depressed as the guy on the Internet who said he eats dog poop out of a Solo cup,” ESPN's Scott Van Pelt said on “SportsCenter” after the game.

“You might think you can just delete your account, but the internet doesn't forget about it, and you can't just get a new name or whatever. People will find you.”

That's certainly true, with Maguire saying “the dog poo eating man is incredibly on the run” and adding that he had also deleted his Facebook and Instagram accounts.

But he said he's willing to go that far to see the anonymous person held accountable for his words.

“The man just recently got engaged. Imagine him having to explain to his soon-to-be wife why he had to do Zero Dark Thirty on social media.” Maguire says:“I have his fiance's Instagram. I'm trying not to involve civilians but I'd be lying if I said I haven't thought about it!!!”
