Incident In Harlem: Arrest of 14-Year-Old

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested following a disturbing incident captured on video. In it, he is seen body-slamming and stomping on a smaller girl on a Harlem street. His mother described him as a “humble” and “quiet” Christian who “doesn’t provoke anyone,” as reported by various sources.

The attack occurred around 3:30 PM on Monday at East 107th Street and Third Avenue. It reportedly stemmed from the victim’s refusal to give the boy her phone number. The New York Post shared additional details about the event.

“He doesn’t provoke anyone, but if you provoke him, he’ll lash out.”

A larger man at the scene can be heard warning the attacker, “I’m going to beat the shit out of you right now,” while another voice off-screen encourages the aggression. As the girl attempted to cross the street, the boy prevented her, telling her to stay put. When she tried to walk around him, he pushed her back. Defiantly, she told him, “Get away from me, you son of a bitch!” before starting to walk away.

However, the assailant chased after her, grabbed her from behind, and tackled her to the ground, violently stomping on her head.

After the court appearance, the attacker was charged with assault and taken into custody. The victim’s mother relayed that her daughter, a ninth-grader and athlete at East Harlem Scholars Academy Charter School, required two days in the hospital. She suffered a concussion and is facing various other injuries, including bleeding and potential brain damage.

The attacker’s mother, Thelma Allen, maintains that her son was actually a victim of bullying by the girl. “He’s been complaining about her,” she claimed, stating that she had alerted the principal, but no action was taken. She insists her son feared going to school due to the alleged bullying.

Allen added that her son is a “humble” individual who “doesn’t provoke anyone,” mentioning that the girl had, in fact, pushed him before the video began. “This was in retaliation for her pushing her son in the first place,” she argued, although she did not provide further evidence to substantiate the claim.

Moreover, she denied that her son was interested in the girl’s phone number, suggesting they were friends who had communicated via social media platforms.

The school has yet to respond to inquiries regarding the incident.
