Authorities released new information Friday from the ongoing investigation. Justin Mohn, 32, was charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse after he allegedly held up his father’s severed head in a YouTube video. In the 14-minute video, Mohn said it was time for “American patriots” to take up arms and “kill federal agents.”
Mr. Mohn went on to suggest that he was the commander-in-chief of a national militia network known as “Morn’s Militia.” The report said he publicly ordered militia members to arrest federal law enforcement officials, torture them for information, and ultimately execute them.
In his video rant, Mohn criticized the Biden administration and the current crisis at the border. He then reported that he had declared himself the new acting president of the United States. CNN. He went on to say of his father, “Michael Mone is going to hell as a traitor to his homeland.”
