Peter Doocy ruffles feathers when he confronts KJP about Biden meeting with key witness in Hunter’s forthcoming trial

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy on Tuesday sparked a stir at the White House when he asked about President Joe Biden’s recent meeting with Hallie Biden.

Last weekend, President Biden made a “surprise overnight visit” to Hallie Biden’s home, the New York Post reported. reportHarry is the widow of Biden’s son Beau and the former lover of Biden’s other son, Hunter Biden, and the pair reportedly had a “brief, private conversation” during the visit.

“I think the American people need to be made aware of the full extent of this.”

The visit was high-profile because it came less than two weeks before Hunter Biden’s gun crimes trial begins, with Hallie Biden expected to testify as a prosecution witness.

On Tuesday, Doocy asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about Biden’s conversation with Harry.

“Why would President Biden meet privately with a witness who is scheduled to testify against his son in court?,” Doocy asked. “Hallie Biden is a key government witness who allegedly disposed of Hunter Biden’s allegedly illegally purchased guns. President Biden visited her at her home this week.”

But Jean-Pierre was clearly annoyed by the question.

“I think the American people need to know the full extent of this,” she fumed, claiming her visit was to mark nine years since Beau’s tragic death.

“He visited her a few days before the anniversary of his son’s death. She’s family. She was obviously married to his late son. And since you’re asking me the question, I think that’s something I should mention,” Jean-Pierre added.

But Douchy quickly saw what was missing in Jean-Pierre’s answer.

“So they didn’t talk about her testimony?” he continued.

“That’s not what this is about. This is literally just days away from the nine-year anniversary of his son’s death,” the spokesman responded.

Last week, Special Counsel David Weiss The court brief submitted states: Hallie Biden is expected to be called as a witness.

At the time of Hunter Biden’s alleged crimes (falsely reporting drug use on his ATF 4473 form), his eldest son was romantically involved with his late brother’s widow. Hallie Biden is said to have taken a gun Hunter purchased in October 2018 and thrown it in the trash. Not far from school.

In addition to Hallie, prosecutors plan to call Hunter Biden’s two ex-wives as witnesses, with each woman expected to testify about Hunter’s drug use.

Hunter’s trial is scheduled to begin June 3rd.
