‘Salt and light’ or silent and lost? Christian voters must decide

Needless to say, Christian voters think: intense discussion Now we're talking about the challenge of rallying behind Donald Trump to avoid the fate of Kamala Harris.

But as big as that problem is, there seems to be a much bigger problem. Evangelical Christians in America have no problem standing for anything at all, according to a new study from the Lifeway Institute for Faith and Culture.

Although 93% of respondents said it was important to interpret world events through the Bible, only 35% said they were prepared to discuss controversial social and political issues as citizens. Only 38% said they were seeking such opportunities.

You don't have to like every member of your coalition, but you don't want them to be non-existent, imprisoned, or worse, hated.

Oh, oh. It's not about Donald Trump. It is a matter of “we, the people”;salt and light” The problem. In order to become better people and a better church, we need to become more aware of what reality is by developing a kind of courage to follow the truth wherever it leads.

This is extremely important to understand. American politics has become a zero-sum game. You win or you lose. There are no sufficient conscience clauses or exceptions to protect one's way of life while the spirit of the age destroys everything else. This is not the case. There has never been, and never will be, a peaceful mass transfer of prosperity, property, and freedom in American history, in the history of the world, and in the history of humanity. So we have to win.

I had to change my own paradigm. I entered the field believing that I had simply abandoned the principled conservatism of the Reagan era. We thought that by returning to these ideals, rather than relying on the fake wrestling version of conservatism we've seen, we could usher in a new “American Morning.” I kept noticing evidence that my paradigm might be flawed, but it wasn't arrogance that slowed my evolution. That was a concern.

When politics turns into a zero-sum game, we are legitimately fighting for the right to exist. This shift changes the rules of engagement and requires a level of commitment and sacrifice, which I fear we are not ready for. It doesn't involve social media clicks, scammer money, or narcissism disguised as principles. Instead, it demands faith, civil disobedience, and active citizenship, for which we generally seem unprepared or uninterested.

But here we are.

The social compact is so broken that the political Venn diagram of left and right is now meaningless. You may technically still be married, but you're sitting in La-Z-Boy and your wife is upstairs in your bed with her boyfriend. And depending on the day, or whether or not the game is played, it's hard to tell if you care.

This is the current situation in America. The government is not here to save you from it. In fact, this is all part of the plan and the government is very happy. To them, you are Western North Carolina devastated by Helen. Drown quietly while taxes are levied on your corpse for illegal immigration and aid to Ukraine.

It's time to learn a hard lesson. Like it or not, it's Red America versus the rest of America. We are alone in a cold civil war, and our Constitution only partially guarantees our true God-ordained rights. This reality means we need to establish our own charity networks, our own doctors, our own health care systems, and our own information streams.

We really live on our own.

The long march through the institutions we once depended on has been completed exactly as progressives intended. I lost. We must accept this if we are to survive and move forward in this zero-sum game. The cavalry won't come unless they come to us. If we don't fight back against this reality now, God help us so that our children will be able to appreciate and respect us instead of resenting our meanness and inaction. I hope you will support me.

You don't have to like every member of the coalition, but it's important to know that they don't exist, that they're imprisoned, or worse, that their daughters are raped and their sons are forced to convert. You should hate it even more. Wake up, whether you vote for Trump or not. Whether you realize it or not, a war with an unrelenting enemy is upon you. We must build stronger communities and lean on each other. we must prepare to fight.

Just to be clear, evangelical Christians do not survey people in concentration camps, so failure to act will not be reflected in any study.
