United resumes flights from U.S. to Israel

United Airlines announced on Tuesday that it will resume its flight to Israel next month, saying that this year will be the first major US airline.

On March 15, the airline states in a statement that United will resume services from New Class to Tel Aviv and add a second daily flight from March 29.

“This resumption is based on the detailed evaluation of local operation considerations and in accordance with the closely work between the flight attendant and the union representing the pilot,” he said.

“United has many years of commitment to serve Tel Aviv. This return will be the first US airline to resume this year's service,” added a statement.

According to the statement, United said that “we will continue to evaluate” whether to restore the daily flight “based on demand”.

Last summer, United has suspended the service to Tel Aviv, with the growing tension in the area.

The announcement of the resumption of flight services has been a month since Israel and Hamas regained the hostage in exchange for prisoners and established a permanent three -stage ceasefire agreement to establish a path to a permanent ceasefire.

Delta announced last week that it will resume daily flights to Tel Aviv from JFK in New York on April 1.

“Delta's decision to resume the service will continue to be a comprehensive security review that has been carefully adjusted with a partner in the government and private sector. The airline will continue to prioritize the safety of customers and crews and with Tel Avib. We are conducting additional precautions regarding management, “said Delta last week.
